Data entry intern - ERP

As a Data Entry Intern, your role will involve accurately entering, updating, and verifying data in the ERP system, specifically in procurement and production modules. Your key responsibilities will include: - Supporting the data migration process by preparing and formatting Excel files according to ERP templates. - Maintaining data integrity through periodic checks and validations. - Assisting various departments with ERP-related data entry and report generation. - Collaborating with the ERP team to address data issues or discrepancies. - Documenting data entry processes and updating logs as necessary to ensure accurate records. - Upholding confidentiality and security standards for all entered data. To qualify for this role, you should be pursuing or have recently completed a degree or diploma in Commerce, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field. Additionally, you should possess: - A basic understanding of ERP systems. - Proficiency in MS Excel, including VLOOKUP, data cleaning, and formatting. - A good typing speed with keen attention to detail. - The ability to work independently and effectively manage your time. - Strong communication and coordination skills to collaborate with team members effectively. In this position, you will gain practical exposure to ERP systems commonly used in enterprise settings. You will also acquire hands-on experience in structured data entry and reporting. Moreover, you will have the opportunity to closely work with cross-functional teams such as Finance, HR, and Procurement.
