Primary responsibilities
· Data input: Accurately entering textual and numerical information into databases and spreadsheets.
· Data maintenance: Updating and maintaining existing records to ensure they are current and accurate.
· Data verification: Checking data for any errors or discrepancies.
· File management: Organizing and maintaining digital and sometimes physical files.
· Administrative tasks: Performing general office duties as needed to support various departments.
Skills and qualifications
· Basic computer skills: Proficiency in using computers, including basic knowledge of softwares (MS Office) and the internet.
· Attention to detail: A high level of accuracy is critical for the role.
· Efficiency: The ability to work quickly and accurately to meet deadlines.
· Education: Often, no specific educational background is required, with many roles accepting candidates with varying levels of education, and sometimes even basic computer knowledge is sufficient.
