Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Enter purchase bills, cheque transactions and daily accounting entries in Tally with accuracy.
Maintain ledgers, assist in bank reconciliation, and support GST/TDS compliance entries.
Prepare and upload Purchase Orders (POs), verify pricing differences and track pending orders.
Maintain vendor price lists, update part/price data regularly and ensure correct billing.
Track shortages, damages and MRP claims; follow up with vendors and update settlement records.
Create new item masters in Tally (part no., MRP, GST) and post stock journals for adjustments/transfers.
Coordinate with purchase & stores team for stock discrepancies and rate issues.
Maintain documentation for bills, POs, LR entries and claims in proper date/serial order for audits.
Maintain Excel sheets for purchase data, claim status, pricing records and generate basic MIS reports.

Candidate Preference

B.Com or Commerce background preferred.
Hands-on experience in
Tally ERP/Tally Prime
is mandatory.
Should have basic knowledge of
purchase accounting, inventory & vendor management
.
Experience in
automotive spare parts industry
is an added advantage.
Must be proficient in
MS Excel, email drafting and data entry tasks
.
Should be detail-oriented, disciplined, and comfortable working with numbers.
Ability to coordinate with vendors, store team, and internal departments efficiently.
