• Assist in designing and developing database schemas for various applications.
• Collaborate with senior engineers to implement database features and solutions.
• Work on schema migrations and version control of database structures.
• Help optimize SQL queries for performance and efficiency.
• Assist in analyzing database bottlenecks and propose solutions.
• Monitor and troubleshoot database performance issues.
• Assist in data migration and integration tasks.
• Help maintain data integrity, quality, and security across databases.
• Support the team in creating ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes for data pipelines.
• Automate routine database maintenance tasks (backups, monitoring, and health checks).
• Write scripts to support data extraction, manipulation, and reporting.
• Work closely with data analysts and business teams to develop interactive dashboards and reports using tools like

  Tableau

  Power BI

  , etc.
• Design and implement visually engaging, user-friendly dashboards that provide insights from complex datasets.
• Collaborate in building data pipelines to supply real-time or batch data to dashboards.
• Help optimize and refresh data sources for timely dashboard updates.
• Work with cross-functional teams to understand data needs and translate them into visualizations.

What youll need to bring:

• Bachelors or Masters Degree – Engineering / Computer Science / B.Tech / M.Tech / B.ScIT / M.ScIT / BE / ME / BCA / MCA.
• Familiarity with relational databases like

  PostgreSQL, MySQL

  , or

  SQL Server

  .
• Strong understanding of

  SQL

  (Structured Query Language) and query optimization.
• Strong knowledge of database design and normalization.
• Experience with

  dashboard development tools

  such as

  Tableau

  ,

  Power BI

  , or

  Metabase

  is a plus.
• Familiarity with version control tools like

  Git

  .
• Hands-on with scripting languages - preferably Python but bash will also do.
• Hands-on AWS skills, techies with certifications from AWS are particularly encouraged to apply - AWS API Gateway, Lambda, EC2, RDS, SQS, S3, CloudWatch.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
