Job Description

Role Overview: You will be a part of the Data Center Engineering team, where cutting-edge strategies are developed, tested, and implemented to take the physical design of data centers into the future. Working alongside a team of innovative minds, you will delve into complex topics such as power usage efficiency and environmentally-friendly facility operations. As a visionary, you will constantly seek opportunities for optimization and drive improvements, no matter how small, that can have a significant impact. Your role will involve generating ideas, presenting recommendations to senior executives, and collaborating with facilities technicians to implement changes. You will also be a vital member of the Geo team, which is dedicated to creating accurate, comprehensive, and user-friendly maps for various Google products such as Maps, Earth, and Street View. With over a billion users relying on Maps services monthly, the team is at the forefront of mapping technology, solving intricate computer science challenges, designing intuitive product experiences, and enhancing our understanding of the real world. Key Responsibilities: - Provide continuous support to client users by maintaining reports, queries, and dashboards, and anticipate and plan for dependency changes like system migrations. - Support product launches by understanding the product roadmap, addressing partner issues, managing operational risks, and ensuring exceptional partner satisfaction. - Collaborate across functions to analyze the root causes of process errors, develop mitigation strategies, suggest workflow and tool improvements. - Enhance partner care experiences through automation and self-service, leveraging AI to enhance data ingestion and quality. - Offer post-launch operational support by monitoring partner services and performance, resolving issues related to partner services, and managing data transmission. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline or equivalent practical experience. - 3 years of experience in product and service-based firms. - Proficiency in producing readable, structured code in one or more core languages. - Experience in designing and managing ETL pipelines. - Experience working with external technical partnership teams or client-facing roles. Preferred Qualifications: - Experience utilizing AI for automating data pipelines and ensuring data quality. - Experience collaborating with internal teams and external vendors. - Ability to manage project timelines and deliverables effectively. - Excellent communication skills with the capability to engage with executive stakeholders and simplify complex concepts. - Strong stakeholder engagement skills.,
