Job Description

Job Summary:

Data Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines to ingest, process, and transform data from various sources.
Build and manage data warehouses, databases, and data lakes to support analytics and reporting.
Ensure data quality, integrity, consistency, and security across systems.
Collaborate with data analysts, data scientists, and business stakeholders to understand data requirements.
Optimize and tune ETL processes for performance and efficiency.
Implement monitoring, alerting, and automated workflows to ensure reliable data operations.
Work with cloud platforms such as
AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
to deploy and manage data infrastructure.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
5 years of experience as a Data Engineer or in a similar role.
Strong experience in SQL, relational databases, and ETL development.
Proficiency in programming languages such as
Python, Java, or Scala
.
Experience with data modeling, data warehousing, and data pipeline design.
Knowledge of cloud platforms and tools (
AWS, Azure, GCP, Snowflake, BigQuery
) is preferred.
Strong problem-solving, analytical, and troubleshooting skills.
