Job Description

As a Data Engineer at the company, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the operational stability and support of the production data environment. Your primary responsibilities will include: - Proactively monitoring and ensuring the successful execution of scheduled ETL jobs - Troubleshooting and resolving issues in data pipelines and SQL environment - Coordinating with IT teams and vendors to address infrastructure-related issues - Following and maintaining Run Books and SOPs - Supporting data engineering tasks and documenting detailed incident reports To excel in this role, you should possess the following qualifications: - 3-5+ years of experience in MS SQL Server administration and development - Strong skills in SSIS and T-SQL - Proven experience in supporting ETL workflows and handling production incidents - Familiarity with SQL Agent job monitoring - Excellent communication and collaboration skills - Ability to follow operational processes and escalation protocols In addition to the responsibilities and qualifications outlined above, the company offers a full-time position with benefits such as a flexible schedule, health insurance, life insurance, paid time off, and the option to work from home. The shift timing is from 9:30 AM to 5:30 PM IST, 7 days a week, with coverage provided by two developers working in rotation.
