Senior Data Engineer (GCP) Chennai (5 to 8 Years Experience)

Senior Data Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop scalable, robust data pipelines on GCP
  
• Develop and optimize complex SQL queries for data transformation and analysis
  
• Work extensively with BigQuery, Cloud Storage, Dataflow, and Pub/Sub
  
• Ensure data quality, security, and high performance across pipelines
  
• Collaborate closely with data analysts, architects, and business stakeholders
  
• Participate in incident management, troubleshooting, and performance tuning
  

Must-Have Skills:

• Hands-on experience with

  SQL

  and

  Google BigQuery

• Strong knowledge of GCP services: BigQuery, Cloud Dataflow, Cloud Composer, Pub/Sub, Cloud Functions, Cloud Storage
  
• Experience with

  Python

  or

  Java

  for data engineering tasks (preferred)
• Solid understanding of data warehousing, ETL/ELT processes, and data modeling
  
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
