Job Title: Big Data Engineer Java & Spark Location: Hyderabad Work Mode: Onsite (5 days a week) Experience: 5 to 10 Years Job Summary: We are hiring an experienced Big Data Engineer with strong expertise in Java , Apache Spark , and Big Data technologies . You will be responsible for designing and implementing scalable data pipelines that support real-time and batch processing for data-driven applications. Key Responsibilities: Develop and maintain scalable batch and streaming data pipelines using Java and Apache Spark Work with Hadoop , Hive , Kafka , and HDFS to manage and process large datasets Collaborate with data analysts, scientists, and other engineering teams to understand data requirements Optimize Spark jobs and ensure performance and reliability in production Maintain data quality, governance, and security best practices Required Skills: 510 years of hands-on experience in data engineering or related roles Strong programming skills in both Java Expertise in Apache Spark for data processing and transformation Good understanding of Big Data frameworks : Hadoop, Hive, Kafka, HDFS Experience with distributed systems and large-scale data processing Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure Good to Have: Experience with workflow orchestration tools like Airflow or NiFi Knowledge of containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and version control (e.g., Git) Education: Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field Why Join Us: Be part of a high-impact data engineering team Work on modern data platforms with the latest open-source tools Strong tech culture with career growth opportunities
