Data Engineer - Azure Databricks

As a Data Engineer - Azure Databricks, you will play a crucial role in developing and implementing large-scale applications or data engineering solutions. Utilizing your expertise in cloud development, particularly Microsoft Azure, you will work with various Azure tools such as Azure EventHub, Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, Azure DevOps, Azure Blob Storage, Azure Power Apps, and Power BI. Your responsibilities will include scripting using Python, PySpark, Unix, and SQL, as well as working with data platforms like Teradata and SQL Server. Proficiency in Azure Data Explorer will be beneficial, and administration skills in this area are a plus. Key Responsibilities: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Technology, Information Systems (CIS/MIS), Engineering, or a related technical discipline, or equivalent experience/training. - 3 years of software solution development experience using agile, DevOps, operating in a product model. - 3 years of Data Engineering experience using SQL. - 2 years of cloud development experience, preferably in Microsoft Azure. - Combination of Development, Administration & Support experience in tools/platforms like Python, PySpark, Unix, SQL, Teradata, SQL Server, Azure Data Explorer. - Proficiency in SQL, Python, and PySpark are the top three mandatory skills and experiences required for this role.
