Data Engineer - Azure Databricks

You will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing large-scale applications or data engineering solutions using agile and DevOps methodologies. Your key responsibilities will include: - Developing software solutions with agile and DevOps methodologies - Utilizing SQL for data engineering - Working on cloud development, preferably using Microsoft Azure, including Azure EventHub, Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, Azure DevOps, Azure Blob Storage, Azure Power Apps, and Power BI - Utilizing scripting languages such as Python, PySpark, Unix, and SQL - Working with data platforms like Teradata and SQL Server - Having experience with Azure Data Explorer, with administration skills considered a plus - Demonstrating a combination of development, administration, and support experience in various tools and platforms To qualify for this role, you should have: - A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Technology, Information Systems (CIS/MIS), Engineering, or a related technical discipline, or equivalent experience/training - At least 3 years of software solution development experience using agile methodologies and operating in a product model - At least 3 years of experience in Data Engineering using SQL - At least 2 years of cloud development experience, preferably with Microsoft Azure, and proficiency in tools like Azure EventHub, Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, Azure DevOps, Azure Blob Storage, Azure Power Apps, and Power BI - Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, PySpark, Unix, and SQL - Experience working with data platforms like Teradata and SQL Server - Familiarity with Azure Data Explorer, with administration skills being a plus Join our multinational IT services and consulting company as a Data Engineer - Azure Databricks in Pune on a contract-to-hire basis.
