About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Data Engineer to design, develop, and optimize data pipelines and automation workflows for large-scale data processing. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in SQL, Databricks, Apache Spark, Scala, EZYETL, and Stonebranch for job scheduling and workflow automation.

Key Responsibilities

Design and implement scalable ETL pipelines using EZYETL and modern data engineering practices.
Develop and optimize data workflows on Databricks leveraging Apache Spark and Scala.
Write and tune SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and analysis.
Configure and manage job scheduling and automation workflows using Stonebranch.
Ensure data quality, integrity, and security across all processes.
Collaborate with data architects, business analysts, and business stakeholders to deliver reliable data solutions.
Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize data pipelines for performance and reliability.
Contribute to data architecture design and best practices for big data systems.

Required Skills & Qualifications

2-5 years of experience in data engineering or related roles.
Strong proficiency in SQL (complex queries, optimization).
Hands-on experience with Databricks, Apache Spark, and Scala.
Expertise in EZYETL or other ETL development and orchestration.
Experience in Stonebranch for job scheduling and workflow automation.
Experience with Delta Lake, Parquet, and other big data framework and file formats
Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP) and data lake architectures.
Knowledge of data modeling, data warehousing, and performance tuning.
Experience with version control systems (Git) and CI/CD pipelines.

Preferred Qualifications

Exposure to BFSI, Healthcare, or enterprise data integration domains.
Exposure to Python for scripting and automation.
Knowledge of streaming technologies (Kafka, Spark Streaming).
Understanding of data governance and compliance standards.

Education

Bachelor s or Master s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

Soft Skills

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, agile environment.
