Role Overview: As a Data Entry specialist, your primary responsibility will be to accurately input data into databases, systems, or software. You will also be required to compare data with source documents to identify and correct errors, organize and maintain data files, ensure data consistency, and ensure that data is accurate, complete, and reliable. Additionally, you will be responsible for locating and providing information as requested by staff or other agencies, preparing reports and summaries based on the data entered and maintained, and adhering to data privacy regulations and company policies. Key Responsibilities: - Accurately input data into databases, systems, or software - Compare data with source documents to identify and correct errors - Organize and maintain data files, ensuring data consistency - Ensure data is accurate, complete, and reliable - Locate and provide information as requested - Prepare reports and summaries based on entered data - Adhere to data privacy regulations and company policies Qualifications Required: - Strong Typing Skills: Ability to type quickly and accurately - Attention to Detail: Ability to identify and correct errors in data entry - Computer Skills: Proficiency in using computer software and databases - Organizational Skills: Ability to manage data files and maintain information - Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to identify and resolve data entry issues - Communication Skills: Ability to communicate effectively with colleagues and supervisors - Education: High school diploma or equivalent is typically required, with some roles requiring a bachelor's degree or relevant certification - Experience: While a beginner-level role may only require basic skills, experience in data entry or related roles can be beneficial Please note that this is a full-time, permanent position suitable for fresher candidates.
