Position: Data Center Operator
Location: Delhi NCR
Experience: 2–4 years
Qualification: Diploma / B.Tech / B.Sc. (IT/Computer Science/Electronics)

Role Overview

We are looking for a responsible and detail-oriented Data Center Operator to monitor, manage, and support daily operations in the data center. The role involves handling system monitoring, hardware checks, incident reporting, routine maintenance, and ensuring uptime of IT infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities1. Monitoring & Operations

• Monitor servers, network devices, storage systems, and data center equipment.
• Ensure 24/7 uptime of critical systems and respond promptly to alerts.
• Track environmental conditions such as temperature, power, and cooling.

2. Incident Handling

• Identify and report system faults, alarms, or performance issues.
• Log incidents and escalate them to the IT team or vendor as per SOP.
• Assist in troubleshooting hardware and network issues.

3. Hardware & Infrastructure Management

• Perform routine checks on racks, cabling, UPS, PAC units, and other equipment.
• Support installation, movement, and replacement of server components.
• Maintain asset records and update equipment inventory.

4. Maintenance Support

• Assist in preventive maintenance activities for data center infrastructure.
• Coordinate with vendors/engineers for repairs or upgrades.
• Ensure compliance with safety, security, and operational protocols.

5. Documentation & Reporting

• Maintain shift logs, incident reports, and activity records.
• Prepare daily/weekly operation reports and submit to the supervisor.
• Follow SOPs for backups, shutdowns, and restart procedures.

Required Skills & Competencies

• Understanding of Data Center operations and IT infrastructure
• Basic knowledge of servers, switches, storage, UPS, and cooling systems
• Ability to monitor systems and identify abnormalities
• Good communication and reporting skills
• Willingness to work in shift operations (24/7 environment)
• Basic knowledge of networking and troubleshooting

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹22,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
