Role Overview: As an Enterprise Architect leading the architecture transformation across Business Capabilities of Siemens Energy, you will play a crucial role in digitalizing the energy of tomorrow. Your responsibilities will include meeting with experts from various business and digital organizations on a daily basis to discuss strategy, formulate problem statements, and design architectures to transform the enterprise and achieve organizational goals. Key Responsibilities: - Analyze architectural trends, standard methodologies, benchmarks, and stay up-to-date with pioneering technology to support data-driven decision-making. - Articulate the architectural vision for the entire enterprise to enable digitalization and foster innovation. - Design an IT transformation roadmap based on evaluations of current and future states. - Evaluate alternative architectural approaches and align them with business capabilities, information, applications, data, infrastructure, and technology. - Drive technical delivery and oversee data engineering strategy, data orchestration architecture, and data operations execution framework. - Define the target data architecture for Siemens Energy's and Siemens Gamesa's data estate, considering business areas, processes, information, data domains, and integration for multi-purpose consumption patterns. - Participate in Digital Transformation Office programs to design and deploy the target operating model. - Define standards and design patterns to optimize data sharing, promote scale, and create a composable data landscape to meet current and future data needs. - Establish a foundational framework for cost management and control for platform operations. - Define integration requirements and access control framework to facilitate data provisioning at scale. Qualifications Required: - Passion for energy solutions and a drive to lead change. - Advanced knowledge in Digital Technology, Product Lifecycle Management, Supply Chain Management, or Customer Relationship Management. - Extensive experience in Enterprise IT solutions, Vertical IT, or Operational Technology enablement. - 3-5 years of work experience in business or IT projects or strategy roles, and 1-3 years of experience in Enterprise Architecture Management and Strategy. - Solid understanding and working knowledge of data ingestion, data modeling, analytics, and database and data warehouse modeling. - Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey technical aspects in business and management language. - Open-mindedness, willingness to learn, and a commitment to skill improvement.
