As an experienced Data Architect with a minimum of 10 years of professional experience, preferably in the Indian BFSI industry, you will play a crucial role in designing and implementing robust, scalable, and secure data architectures to support the organization's data-driven initiatives and business objectives. Your expertise in cloud (AWS, Azure, GCP) and on-premises (Cloudera/ CDP) environments will be instrumental in shaping the data landscape of the organization. **Key Responsibilities:** - Analyze and understand the organization's data landscape, including existing data sources, data flows, and data storage solutions in both cloud (AWS, Azure, GCP) and on-premises (Cloudera) environments. - Design and develop comprehensive data architectures that address the organization's current and future data requirements, ensuring data integrity, security, and compliance across cloud and on-premises infrastructure. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align data architecture with the overall IT and business strategies. - Define data integration and transformation processes for efficient and reliable data flows between systems and applications. - Implement data governance and data quality management practices to ensure consistency, accuracy, and reliability of data. - Assess and recommend appropriate data storage technologies based on the organization's requirements. **Qualifications and Experience:** - Minimum 8-10 years of experience in data architecture, with a focus on the Indian BFSI industry. - Proficiency in designing and implementing data architectures using various data storage solutions in cloud and on-premises environments. - Extensive knowledge of data integration and transformation techniques, including ETL and ELT processes. - Familiarity with data governance frameworks, data quality management, and metadata management practices across cloud and on-premises environments. - Hands-on experience with data modeling, database design, and performance optimization. - Strong understanding of data security, privacy, and compliance regulations in the BFSI industry. - Proven ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and effectively communicate technical concepts. - Experience in leading and mentoring data engineering and analytics teams. - Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Advanced degrees or certifications in data management or architecture preferred.
