Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Data Annotation Specialist with 3 - 5 years of experience to support our machine learning and AI initiatives. You will be responsible for accurately labelling and annotating datasets, ensuring high-quality input for training models

Contractual Role 3 Months | Work From Office

Role & responsibilities

Annotate diverse datasets including images, text, audio, and video using internal tools and platforms.
Review and validate annotations for consistency, accuracy, and adherence to guidelines.
Collaborate with data scientists and ML engineers to refine annotation strategies and improve model performance.
Develop and maintain annotation guidelines and documentation for new projects.
Perform quality assurance on labeled data and provide feedback to junior annotators.
Identify edge cases and ambiguities in data and escalate to relevant teams.
Train and mentor junior annotators as needed.

Preferred candidate profile

3 - 5 years of hands-on experience in data annotation or data labelling roles.
Proficiency with annotation tools like Label box, CVAT, Prodigy, or similar platforms.
Strong understanding of machine learning concepts and how annotated data impacts model training.
Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow complex guidelines.
Familiarity with Python or scripting for automation is a plus.
Experience working with large-scale datasets in domains like NLP, computer vision, or speech.
Strong communication and documentation skills.
