Data and Information Analyst

Role Overview: As a Data/Information Management Analyst 2 at Citigroup, you will be a developing professional applying specialty area knowledge in monitoring, assessing, analyzing, and evaluating processes and data. Your role will involve identifying policy gaps, formulating policies, interpreting data, making recommendations, researching and interpreting factual information, and defining business issues. You will integrate established disciplinary knowledge within your specialty area with a basic understanding of related industry practices, contributing to the objectives of the area with limited but direct impact on the business. Key Responsibilities: - Responsible for various data activities including database administration, data analysis, maintenance, data quality, and database management or database architecture/design engineering. - Focus on routine operational or administrative work, administering defined procedures, conducting analyses, and preparing reports. - Work will be reviewed by more senior team members with limited contact outside the immediate area. - Deliver routine and defined outputs daily while developing knowledge of the broader context in which the work is performed. - Assess risk appropriately when making business decisions, ensuring compliance with laws, rules, and regulations, and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients, and assets. Qualifications: - 3-5 years of relevant experience. - Proficiency in analytic tools such as SAS E-miner, Knowledge Seeker, SPSS, etc. - Experience with big data and machine learning tools like R, Python, etc. - Ability to engage resources outside of direct control to achieve objectives. Education: - Bachelors/University degree or equivalent experience.
