Data and Information Analyst

Role Overview: As a Data/Information Management Analyst 2 at Citigroup, you will be a developing professional applying specialty area knowledge in monitoring, assessing, analyzing, and evaluating processes and data. Your role involves identifying policy gaps, formulating policies, interpreting data, making recommendations, researching and interpreting factual information, and defining business issues. You will integrate established disciplinary knowledge within your specialty area with a basic understanding of related industry practices, aiming to have a limited but direct impact on the business through the quality of tasks/services provided, primarily within your own team. Key Responsibilities: - Responsible for various data activities including database administration, data analysis, maintenance, data quality, and database management or architecture/design engineering. - Perform routine operational or administrative work with a focus on administering defined procedures, analyses, and report preparation. - Have your work reviewed by more senior team members and limited contact outside your immediate area. - Deliver routine and defined outputs daily while developing knowledge of the broader context of the work being performed. - Assess risk appropriately when making business decisions, demonstrating consideration for the firm's reputation and compliance with applicable laws, rules, and regulations. Qualifications: - 3-5 years of relevant experience. - Proficiency in analytic tools such as SAS E-miner, Knowledge Seeker, SPSS, etc. - Experience in big data and machine learning tools like R, Python, etc. - Ability to engage resources outside of direct control to achieve objectives. Education: - Bachelors/University degree or equivalent experience.
