About The Team The Business Analytics team within Operational Excellence & Data Analytics is a global team responsible for driving the end-to-end data and analytics strategy across Life & Health Reinsurance We are dedicated to creating tangible business impact through the strategic adoption of data and analytics Our mandate is to empower the L&H community by embedding data-driven insights into decision-making processes, optimizing the use of data and analytics tools, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement We are a dynamic and collaborative team that thrives on innovation and the practical application of cutting-edge technologies to address global business challenges About The Role In this role, you will lead the execution of our organizational data & analytics strategy, taking full responsibility for driving high-impact analytics initiatives that shape key business decisions You will work closely with senior stakeholders across market units to understand their strategic needs and facilitate the delivery of data-driven solutions that optimize business performance Additionally, you will drive the adoption of advanced analytics tools and technologies, such as Generative AI, to accelerate innovation and elevate the organizations analytics capabilities Key Responsibilities Drive the execution and refinement of L&H's data & analytics strategy, ensuring it is forward-thinking and aligned with long-term business goals Collaborate with senior stakeholders to shape the vision for data and analytics across the L&H organization, guiding decision-making and prioritizing initiatives that deliver the highest value Drive the strategic development of high-impact training programs, workshops, and other initiatives aimed at upskilling the organization in data and analytics, ensuring alignment with business goals and fostering a culture of continuous learning and innovation Champion organizational transformation by shaping strategic initiatives that improve the user journey for data & analytics, ensuring the broad adoption of advanced analytics tools and practices Lead thought leadership in the adoption of emerging technologies, such as Generative AI, to advance the organizations analytics capabilities and promote innovation Mentor and guide junior team members, fostering a culture of strategic thinking, innovation, and continuous improvement About You Proven leadership experience in data strategy and transformation, with 6+ years of progressive responsibility in strategic data roles, preferably within insurance or financial services Good understanding of data architecture principles, enterprise-wide data management frameworks, and familiarity with agile principles Demonstrated success in product ownership or analytical product management, with the ability to translate complex data concepts into actionable business strategies Advanced proficiency in data visualization and analytics platforms, including familiarity with Palantir Foundry, Power BI, and modern business intelligence tools Proven track record in developing and executing comprehensive data strategies aligned with organizational goals and business processes Strong project management skills with experience in leading cross-functional teams and managing multiple data initiatives simultaneously Advanced academic credentials in a relevant field demonstrating deep analytical and strategic capabilities Exceptional communication skills with the ability to influence senior leadership and articulate complex data concepts to non-technical stakeholders Experience in fostering a data-driven culture and mentoring team members to enhance the organization's overall analytics capabilities Note: While proficiency in data tools is required, this role focuses on strategy, leadership, and product ownership rather than hands-on data work This is an exciting opportunity to join a high-performing team and contribute to the development of
