Job Description

Key

Lead migration of WJI data and infrastructure to BigQuery as the sole dedicated data engineer on the team. (WJI is a Java-based consumer of warehouse data.)
Own migration workstreams and resolve technical challenges independently.
Document processes and share knowledge with the broader team.
Collaborate with teammates in Sri Lanka.

Required Skills
Expertise in Spark jobs (Scala). Experience with cloud warehousing (especially GCP/BigQuery). Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills. Ability to work independently and proactively. Commitment to high-quality documentation and knowledge transfer and collaboration.
