Job Summary: Data Analyst will be responsible for performing day-to-day analysis, leverage expertise in data collection, processing, and analysis to support marketing activities in order to meet wider business goals such as identifying effective marketing programs, understanding customers and products behavior through segmentation using various analytical techniques, business development by identifying prospective customers, transform raw data into meaningful reports and ad-hoc reporting, business intelligence dashboards. Essential Job Duties: Perform business data analysis and reporting on day-to-day basis Experience with building insights using varied data sources Execute plans based upon data (statistical analysis). Drive execution of those plans (e.g., Promotion effectiveness, customer behavior). Proactively analyze data to answer key questions for stakeholders, with an eye on what drives business performance, and investigate and communicate which areas need improvement in efficiency and productivity Create and maintain rich interactive visualizations through data interpretation and analysis, with reporting components from multiple data sources Understanding b2b, b2c, customer and product behavior, effectiveness of promotion, optimizing marketing programs to provide recommendations by analyzing to meet marketing goals and optimize marketing activities Understanding of Statistical modeling is required Basic Qualifications: (Minimum Required Education, Experience, Knowledge/Skills/Abilities, Essential Physical Demands) The candidate must have an Engineering Degree / Masters in Business Administration Education & Experience: Overall, 5 to 7 years of relevant Industry experience (preferably in ecommerce analytics, Automotive or Retail industry) Ability to work autonomously. High level of organizational skills with the ability to deal with conflicting priorities and deadlines. Hands-on person who can hit the ground running. Flexible with the ability to work well under pressure. Confident in problem-solving. Knowledge : Knowledge of overall business strategy and operations, including business processes, revenue and cost components and drivers of these measures, profitability and return on investment modeling and general business modeling Skills: Project management skills able to set work priorities in a logical order and handle multiple priorities in parallel Fully proficient and experienced in analysis, databases, and data mining Present complicated analytical solutions to a non-technical audience Collect, clean, and analyze large data sets to identify trends and insights. Provide data support for product development and marketing initiatives. Identify new data sources and leverage them to enhance existing analyses. Prepare comprehensive reports and visualizations to present findings to stakeholders. Analytical thinker and comfortable with large data sets, 1 M+ merchandise SKUs Strong strategic thinking skills to support analysis and lead to the recommendation of strategies and the execution of plans Customer segmentation, customer analytics, promotion analysis and forecasting expertise and experience are highly preferred Experience working with creating dashboards using all relevant data, using visualization in Excel or Power BI Strong SQL or Excel skills, with aptitude for learning other analytics tools MS Access, Excel VBA, Access VBA, Web Scrapping, Python experience highly preferred Abilities: A work style that is very precise, detail and accuracy-oriented is required for a candidate to be successful in the role. Ability to work in a geographically dispersed team environment Communication fluent in the English language (both written and verbal); equally able to explain complex analyses to those within and outside the function. Should be able to make marketing strategy decisions. Reporting. Analyzing. Presenting data. Essential Physical Demands/Work Environment: Preferred Qualifications: Proven experience as a Data Analyst or Business Data Analyst, preferably in the automotive industry. Proficiency in data analysis tools such as SQL, Python. Experience with database and model design and segmentation techniques Strong analytical skills with the ability to work with complex datasets. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Effective communication skills to convey data insights to non-technical stakeholders. Interest in the US Automotive Industry (experience preferred)
