Data Analyst Intern

As a Data Analyst Intern at our company located in Mohali, Sector 74, you will have the opportunity to work with a dynamic data analysis team. Here is a brief overview of what you can expect in this role: **Role Overview:** - Assist the data analysis team in gathering, cleaning, and organizing data from various sources. - Perform data entry and basic data manipulation tasks in Excel. - Use Excel to create reports, dashboards, and visualizations to summarize key insights. - Analyze trends, patterns, and outliers in data and prepare actionable reports for management. - Support in building data models, forecasts, and projections using Excel functions (VLOOKUP, pivot tables, etc.). - Conduct ad-hoc data analysis and assist in preparing data for presentations and meetings. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather data requirements and provide relevant insights. - Ensure the accuracy and integrity of data by conducting regular checks and validation processes. - Learn and apply best practices for data management and data visualization. **Key Responsibilities:** - Currently pursuing a degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Business, or a related field. - Basic knowledge of Excel, including functions like SUMIF, VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, and Data Visualization Tools (Charts, Graphs, etc.). - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail. - Ability to manage multiple tasks and work under deadlines. - A proactive and enthusiastic approach to learning new tools and techniques. - Excellent communication and teamwork skills. - Familiarity with SQL or any other programming language (a plus, but not required). - Previous internship or project experience in data analysis (preferred but not required).
