Job Description

As a Data Analyst at Snowflake, you will play a crucial role in supporting business decision-making practices within the Data Analytics Organization. Your primary responsibility will be to work closely with internal business and technical stakeholders to identify use cases, gather requirements for analysis, reporting, and automation. By researching data from key business systems, ingesting data into Snowflake, assessing data quality, mapping requirements, and designing end-to-end business intelligence solutions, you will directly impact Snowflake's success as a company. Your key responsibilities will include analyzing data to address critical business questions, creating insightful presentations based on your findings, and developing dashboards to deliver ongoing information and insights to internal stakeholders. Additionally, you will collaborate with the Accounting team, formulate project plans, provide status updates, and conduct user testing to ensure the quality of the deliverables. To excel in this role, you are required to have at least 3 years of experience as a data analyst or BI engineer. Strong SQL skills are essential, along with proficiency in using SQL for analysis, query standardization, and building large-scale relational datasets. Experience in developing enterprise-level reports using BI tools like Streamlit, Tableau, Power BI, or similar technologies is a must. Familiarity with MPP databases such as Snowflake, Redshift, or BigQuery will be advantageous. Your ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, prioritize tasks in a dynamic environment, and take ownership of complex problems will be critical for success in this role. You should possess a keen eye for detail, a bias for action, and a drive for continuous improvement. Preferred skills for this position include experience with ERP and Financial Planning tools, proficiency in Python libraries such as Pandas, NumPy, and Plotly for data manipulation and visualization, as well as familiarity with agile frameworks like scrum or sprint. Snowflake offers a dynamic and fast-paced work environment where innovative thinking and pushing the boundaries of technology are encouraged. If you are driven by challenges, motivated by innovation, and seek to make a significant impact, Snowflake is the place for you to build a future for yourself while contributing to the growth of the company.
