Dance Teacher (Kathak and Bharatnatyam)

Job Summary:

We're seeking an experienced and passionate Dance Teacher to teach Kathak and Bharatanatyam to students of various ages and skill levels. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in classical dance, excellent teaching skills, and the ability to create engaging lesson plans.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Teach Kathak and Bharatanatyam techniques, theory, and history to students.

2. Create and implement lesson plans for students of different ages and skill levels.

3. Conduct regular assessments and provide feedback to students.

4. Choreograph and direct dance performances for students.

5. Promote the appreciation and understanding of classical dance forms.

Requirements:

1. Strong background in Kathak and Bharatanatyam, with formal training and certification.

2. Teaching experience, preferably in a dance school or institution.

3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

4. Ability to create engaging lesson plans and adapt to different learning styles.

5. Patience, creativity, and passion for teaching dance.

Nice to Have:

1. Experience in choreographing and directing dance performances.

2. Knowledge of Indian classical music and its relation to dance.

3. Familiarity with dance notation systems.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
