Dance Teacher

Job Description

Plan, prepare, and deliver dance lessons in one or more styles Teach students proper technique, performance skills, and dance terminology. Choreograph routines for recitals, competitions, or school events. Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback. Maintain a safe and inclusive studio/classroom environment. Collaborate with other teachers and staff to coordinate performances and events. Stay current with dance trends and teaching methods. Manage attendance and maintain student records as needed. Qualifications: Proven experience as a Dance Teacher or professional dancer. Proficiency in at least one dance style; versatility is a plus. Degree or certification in Dance, Performing Arts, or related field (preferred). Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills. Ability to inspire and engage students of various ages and skill levels. CPR/First Aid certification (preferred or required by some institutions).
