Job Description

As a Dairy Farm Manager, your role involves overseeing the daily operations of the dairy farm to ensure efficient functioning and optimal productivity. Your responsibilities include: - Farm Management: - Oversee the feeding, milking, breeding, health, and hygiene of livestock. - Manage farm staff by assigning tasks, ensuring productivity, and maintaining discipline. - Implement and monitor standard operating procedures (SOPs) for dairy operations. - Maintain accurate records of milk production, livestock health, feed usage, and breeding cycles. - Ensure compliance with veterinary, environmental, and safety regulations. - Optimize herd health and milk yield through effective nutrition and veterinary practices. - Oversee procurement and inventory management for feed, medicines, and supplies. - Identify and implement new technologies or practices to improve efficiency and yield. - Marketing & Sales: - Develop and execute a comprehensive marketing strategy to promote dairy products. - Build and manage relationships with distributors, retailers, and B2B/B2C customers. - Lead branding, packaging, and pricing strategies. - Manage social media, local outreach campaigns, and partnerships to boost brand awareness. - Track market trends and customer feedback to adjust marketing efforts. - Explore new sales channels such as online platforms, subscriptions, and farm visits. - Set and meet monthly/quarterly sales targets. - Handle customer relationship management (CRM) and ensure customer satisfaction. In addition to your roles and responsibilities, you are required to have the following qualifications and skills: - Qualifications & Skills: - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Agriculture, Animal Husbandry, Dairy Technology, Business Administration, or related field. - Proven experience (12+ years) in dairy farm management and/or FMCG/agri-product marketing. - Strong leadership and team management skills. - Knowledge of livestock care, feeding programs, and milk production processes. - Familiarity with local dairy market dynamics and regulatory compliance. - Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. - Ability to analyze data and make data-driven decisions. - Proficient in Microsoft Office, farm management software, and digital marketing tools. Please note that this is a full-time, permanent position requiring a total of 5 years of work experience. The work location is in person.,
