D51 - Product Engineer / Sr. Product Engineer - Mechanical (Medical Domain Experience)

Key Responsibilities

• Designing new products and/or supporting Installed Base of mechanical components & subsystems using Mechanical Engineering principles.
• Experience in the development of medical devices related to patient monitoring systems.
• Execute design to engineering standards and SOP of company medical devices.
• Work as a part of a team including cross-functional team members & suppliers to deliver technical solutions and develop the components.
• Leading development of new processes in the areas of Plastics.
• Engaging in all phases of new product development, including concept, architecture, documentation, design, prototype, test, supplier interfaces, manufacturing introduction and service support.
• Identifying and developing new opportunities to leverage Strategic Sourcing objectives and Common Technology initiatives in the modality product line.
• Defining and executing component design verification.
• Developing innovative designs to meet all requirements for performance, reliability, cost, and manufacturability.
• Maintain and develop the competence required for the job.
• Experience with 3D CAD software, such as Creo.
• Knowledge of materials science.
• Conduct DFMEA, DFM/DFA reviews and coordinate with Quality and regulatory teams.
• Collaborate with suppliers and manufacturing teams for feasibility. prototyping, and product readiness.
• Plan and execute design verification, testing and validation of design assumptions.
  

Skills And Experience Required

• Experience Range - 3 to 5 Years.
• BE Mechanical or BTech Mechanical or Associated Branches.
