Role Overview: As a Cypress & Playwright Tester, you will be responsible for designing scalable test frameworks with Cypress/Playwright, focusing on modularity and reusability. Your expertise in JavaScript/TypeScript will be crucial for working with assertions, selectors, and control flow. Additionally, you will handle setup and execution across Chromium, Firefox, WebKit (Playwright), or Chrome variants (Cypress) while utilizing CI practices. Dealing with dynamic elements, auto-waiting, retry-ability, and synchronization issues will be part of your daily tasks. Parameterizing tests, using fixtures, and external data files such as JSON, CSV, YAML will also be within your scope. Experience with handling files, stubs, intercepts, and browser context usage is expected. You will be responsible for generating reports using tools like Mochawesome, Allure, and HTML, as well as debugging test failures with trace/viewer tools. Integration with Jenkins, GitHub Actions, and GitLab CI, along with environment setup and test triggers, will also be part of your responsibilities. You will showcase your problem-solving skills by providing creative and efficient solutions using Cypress or Playwright.
