As a Cypress & Playwright Tester, you will be responsible for designing scalable test frameworks with Cypress/Playwright, emphasizing modularity and reusability. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 6 years of experience in this role. This position is a Contract to Hire opportunity based in Hyderabad with an immediate requirement for joiners. Key Responsibilities: - Design scalable test frameworks with a focus on modularity and reusability using Cypress/Playwright. - Proficient in JavaScript/TypeScript, with expertise in working with assertions, selectors, and control flow. - Set up and execute tests across Chromium, Firefox, WebKit (Playwright), or Chrome variants (Cypress), with a strong understanding of CI usage. - Ability to handle dynamic elements, auto-waiting, retry-ability, and synchronization issues effectively. - Parameterize tests, utilizing fixtures and external data files (JSON, CSV, YAML) for efficient test execution. - Experience in managing files, stubs, intercepts, and browser context usage. - Generate comprehensive reports using tools like Mochawesome, Allure, HTML, and proficient in debugging test failures with trace/viewer tools. - Integrate with continuous integration tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, and handle environment setup and test triggers effectively. - Showcase examples of challenges solved using Cypress or Playwright, demonstrating creative and efficient solutions.
