To excel in this role, you should possess knowledge of Cybersecurity principles, vulnerability assessment, and incident response. Proficiency in Network Security, Firewalls, Intrusion Detection Systems (IDS), and Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) tools is essential. An understanding of regulatory compliance requirements such as GDPR, HIPAA, and ISO/IEC 27001 is also crucial. Moreover, skills in programming and scripting languages such as Python, Java, or Bash are highly valued. In addition to technical competencies, strong analytical and problem-solving abilities are key attributes for this role. You should be comfortable working both independently and collaboratively within a team environment. A Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field is required for this position.
