Cybersecurity Specialist

Role Overview: As a Cyber Security Expert at Zilicon Network Solutions, your main responsibility will be to protect the organization's digital infrastructure by proactively identifying vulnerabilities, responding to threats, and ensuring compliance with industry-standard security practices. This role requires strong analytical abilities, technical expertise, and a deep understanding of modern cyber-attack techniques. Key Responsibilities: - Security Monitoring & Incident Response - Monitor systems, networks, and applications for unusual activity or threats. - Investigate security breaches and conduct root-cause analysis. - Respond to incidents with proper containment, eradication, and recovery measures. - Vulnerability Management - Perform regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing. - Identify security loopholes and recommend mitigation strategies. - Keep systems updated with patches and security updates. - Risk Management & Compliance - Conduct risk assessments and maintain risk registers. - Ensure compliance with standards such as ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR, or industry-specific requirements. - Create, update, and enforce security policies and procedures. - Network & Infrastructure Security - Implement firewalls, IDS/IPS, endpoint protection, and network monitoring tools. - Secure cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP) and on-premises networks. - Configure and manage encryption, authentication, and identity management systems. - Security Tools & Technology Management - Manage SIEM, DLP, EDR/XDR, SOAR, WAF, and other security tools. - Evaluate and deploy new technologies to strengthen security posture. - Training & Awareness - Conduct security awareness programs for employees. - Provide guidance to internal teams on best security practices. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Cyber Security, or related field. - Proven experience in information security or cybersecurity roles. - Strong knowledge of networking, firewalls, and intrusion detection systems. - Experience with SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar, Azure Sentinel, etc.). - Hands-on skills in penetration testing and vulnerability scanning. - Familiarity with security frameworks (ISO 27001, NIST, CIS). - Certifications preferred: CEH, CISSP, CISM, CompTIA Security+, OSCP.,
