About the Role:

Cybersecurity Sentinel

Key Responsibilities:

Monitor & Defend:
Continuously monitor network and system activity to detect, analyze, and respond to security incidents in real-time.
Threat Intelligence:
Collect and analyze threat intelligence to anticipate potential cyberattacks and develop proactive countermeasures.
Incident Response:
Lead or assist in incident response efforts, including investigation, containment, eradication, and post-incident reporting.
Vulnerability Management:
Perform regular vulnerability assessments, penetration tests, and risk analyses across infrastructure and applications.
Security Engineering:
Implement and optimize security tools such as SIEMs, firewalls, endpoint protection, and intrusion detection systems.
Policy & Compliance:
Support the development and enforcement of security policies, procedures, and standards aligned with frameworks like ISO 27001, NIST, and SOC 2.

Required:

Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field (or equivalent experience).
37 years of experience in cybersecurity operations, network security, or information assurance.
Strong understanding of security principles, firewalls, IDS/IPS, and SIEM platforms.
Experience with incident response and digital forensics.
