Job Description

As a Cybersecurity Specialist at Siemens Healthineers, your primary responsibility will be to drive security innovation by implementing, enhancing, and continuously improving cybersecurity measures across the organization. You will assess and advise stakeholders on the security capabilities of internal applications, evaluate residual risks, and propose effective mitigation strategies. Working closely with teams in Infrastructure, Cybersecurity Operations, and Governance, you will ensure alignment with security standards and compliance with best practices. Your role will also involve embedding security-by-design principles into application and infrastructure projects. This includes defining security models, promoting proactive security measures, and contributing to a culture of security awareness throughout the organization. To stay ahead of emerging threats, you will monitor cybersecurity trends and market developments to enhance our security posture effectively. To qualify for this position, you should have a minimum of 2 years of experience in a Cybersecurity function or have worked extensively on Cybersecurity-related topics in an operational capacity. You must possess expertise in application security best practices and implementation, including security protocols, cryptography, authentication, authorization, and hardening of operating systems and databases. Your experience should also include determining security requirements based on business strategies and risk assessments, describing data flows, and collaborating with various stakeholders to enforce security controls effectively. Furthermore, as an ideal candidate, you should be analytical, methodical, and capable of working autonomously. Experience in collaborating with global distributed teams is essential, and a quick learner with a proactive attitude towards adopting new technologies and architectures will thrive in this role.,
