Job Description

Key Responsibilities: Monitor and analyze security events and alerts from various security tools (SIEM, IDS/IPS, firewalls) Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing Respond to and investigate security incidents and breaches Develop and enforce security policies, standards, and procedures Perform risk assessments and recommend mitigation strategies Implement security controls to protect network infrastructure, applications, and data Collaborate with IT teams to ensure system and application security Maintain up-to-date knowledge of cybersecurity threats and trends Conduct security awareness training for employees Prepare reports on security status, incidents, and recommendations Required Skills and Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field 3-5 years of hands-on experience in cybersecurity roles Knowledge of network security, firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS, endpoint security Experience with security monitoring tools (e.g., Splunk, QRadar, ArcSight) Familiarity with vulnerability scanning tools (e.g., Nessus, Qualys) Understanding of security frameworks such as ISO 27001, NIST, CIS Controls Incident response and digital forensics skills Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities Good communication and documentation skills
