Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced application penetration tester with expertise in both manual and automated testing to join our Security and Privacy Risk Consulting group. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of various testing methodologies and tools, as well as a passion for uncovering vulnerabilities and identifying potential security risks. This position will play a critical role in helping prevent, detect, and respond to security threats affecting critical systems and data.

As a member of the Security, Privacy, and Risk Consulting team, you will provide application security testing and empower development and security teams with accurate findings at the highest standards of quality in order to identify and eliminate risk across application portfolios.

Qualifications

• B.Tech in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent work experience
• Expert in web security with deep knowledge of vulnerabilities and exploitation techniques
• 1+ years of experience in code review, application security testing, or web application development
• Strong scripting skills (Python, Ruby, Perl)
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS and cloud security best practices
• Familiarity with development technologies like Docker, CDK, Terraform, Java, Python, React, GraphQL, JavaScript, JSON, REST, etc.
• Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
• Integrity, confidentiality, and adherence to security policies and best practices
• Technical background in application development, networking/system administration, or security testing
• Experience with SAST and DAST using various tools and techniques
• Preferred certifications: OSWA, OSWE, OSCP, Burp Suite Certified Practitioner, AWS Certified Security Specialist

Responsibilities

• Conduct manual penetration testing on web applications, network devices, and other systems
• Perform security assessments including static and dynamic application security testing
• Collaborate across diverse technology stacks and cloud platforms
• Develop and interpret security standards and guidance
• Promote secure development and cloud security best practices
• Provide remediation recommendations for identified findings
• Document and communicate findings clearly to senior management and stakeholders
• Identify improvement opportunities for clients
• Stay current with the latest security trends, tools, and practices
• Work effectively within a team and support junior staff on engagements

Job Type: Contractual / Temporary
Contract length: 12 months

Pay: ₹80,000.00 - ₹256,000.00 per month

Work Location: In person
