Job Description

Role Overview: As a Cyber Security Embedded Software Engineer for Embedded Operating Systems (EOS) at Danfoss Power Solutions in Pune, your main responsibility will be to ensure the development and implementation of secure designs in EOS products, protecting against various cybercrime techniques for hardware and embedded software. Your role will involve designing and implementing cyber security technical measures, defining/reviewing technical security requirements, conducting vulnerability assessments, threat assessments for new and existing products, responding to incidents, and developing a cyber security culture through internal team training and coaching. Key Responsibilities: - Designing and implementing cyber security technical measures such as Secure Boot and Secure Software update mechanisms - Defining/reviewing technical security requirements - Conducting vulnerability assessments, classifying, prioritizing, and fixing issues - Conducting Threat Assessment for new and existing products - Responding to incidents and implementing corrective measures for security breaches - Developing a Cyber Security Culture through team internal training and coaching Qualifications Required: - Educational background in Embedded Software or a similar field - Several years of practical experience in a similar role - Experience with systematic embedded software development - Expertise in international cyber security regulation and standards - CISSP, CSSLP, or CEH certification preferred - Great team-player qualities and ability to work in a cross-functional environment - Creative, analytical, structured, and proactive approach with a positive mindset - Fluency in English Please note: Danfoss Power Solutions designs and manufactures a wide range of engineered components and systems focusing on quality, reliability, and safety.
