Monitor and analyze network traffic, system logs, and other data sources to identify potential security threats
Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify and remediate vulnerabilities
Develop and implement security policies and procedures to protect our systems and data
Provide guidance and support to other members of the IT and security teams on cyber security best practices
Stay up to date with the latest cyber security threats and trends, and proactively identify potential risks to our organization
Collaborate with other departments to ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards

Skills and Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
2-7 years of experience in cyber security or a related field
Experience with network and system security, including firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention, and vulnerability management
Strong understanding of cyber security best practices and industry standards
Experience with security assessment tools and techniques, including vulnerability scanners and penetration testing
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CEH, or Security+
