We are seeking a highly experienced Azure Cloud Operations Engineer with 8-12 years of hands-on experience in cloud infrastructure management and production support. The ideal candidate will independently handle production incidents, ensure system availability, and provide critical support during night shifts. This role demands strong problem-solving skills, a proactive approach, and deep expertise in Azure cloud services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor, manage, and support Azure cloud environments to ensure high availability and performance of production systems.
• Independently troubleshoot, analyze, and resolve production support incidents in a timely manner, minimizing downtime and impact.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including development, security, and network operations to resolve complex issues.
• Implement and maintain automation scripts for routine maintenance, monitoring, and deployment activities using PowerShell, Bicep, and Azure DevOps pipelines.
• Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence of production issues.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation for incidents, processes, and configurations.
• Manage cloud infrastructure components such as Virtual Machines, Azure App Services, Azure SQL, Azure Networking, and Azure Storage.
• Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Bicep templates for consistent and automated resource provisioning.
• Utilize Azure DevOps for CI/CD pipeline creation, deployment automation, and release management.
• Ensure compliance with security policies, backup and recovery plans, and disaster recovery procedures.
• Participate actively in on-call rotations and provide 24x7 support during night shifts as required.
• Continuously improve operational processes and tools to enhance system stability and incident response.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• 8-12 years of professional experience in cloud operations, specifically with Microsoft Azure.
• Strong expertise in managing production environments and supporting critical cloud infrastructure.
• Deep understanding of Azure services including IaaS, PaaS, networking, security, monitoring, and automation tools (e.g., Azure Monitor, Azure Automation, ARM Templates, PowerShell, Azure CLI).
• Proven experience in Infrastructure as Code using

  Bicep

  and automation with

  Azure DevOps

  pipelines.
• Experience with incident management, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis.
• Familiarity with CI/CD processes, release management, and version control systems integrated with Azure DevOps.
• Experience scripting with PowerShell, Python, or similar languages to automate tasks.
• Strong understanding of ITIL best practices for incident, change, and problem management.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently during night shifts.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and handle multiple priorities simultaneously.
