Customs Compliance Manager, Ireland (for Indian applicants)

We are seeking an experienced person, based in India (remotely), who is passionate about supporting our experienced senior consultants and clients, within this high demand industry sector.

Excellent experience in customs clearances, Irish revenue regulations, HMRC UK ORIGIN,. Core understanding of US HTS, EU Taric.

You will have professional business English, and mature outlook to liaise with key Irish supporting partners.

• Experience in Tariff classifications and UK Origin compliance.
• Analyse client concerns by highlighting issues and dealing with any queries.
• Knowledge of Irish Revenue / HMRC updates to satisfy client compliance requirements.
• Experience of US Customs non-preferential origin rules based on Substantial transformation and HMRC compliance
• Respond to client queries and assist in compiling client procedures SOPs / SLAs.
• An entrepreneurial mindset with outstanding organizational and leadership skills.
• Work on own initiative to apply Irish Customs updates, within a team environment.
• Accuracy and attention to detail is essential.
• Operations / Administration experience gained in a logistics environment.
• Experienced with Customs software, MS Office, Advanced Excel, Outlook & PC based Software.

• Currently studying post grad Degree: 1 year (Preferred)
• US baseline and reciprocal tariffs: 1 year (Preferred)
• TARIC quotas, anti-dumping, countervailing: 3 years (Preferred)
• Optimum use of prompts for Perplexity, Gemini AI: 2 years (Preferred)
• Irish Customs Procedures: 2 years (Preferred)
• US Customs origin rules and HMRC compliance: 1 year (Preferred)

Language:

• Advanced Professional Business English (C2) (Preferred)
