Job Description

As a self-driven support engineer, you will thrive in a fast-paced environment and be adept at adapting to changing priorities. Your role will involve direct interaction with customers via phone and email, providing technical support through advanced troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and code fixes. You will excel in problem-solving and also take initiative in designing tools to enhance internal and customer experiences. Your expertise will span across web services, databases, networking, and coding. Your responsibilities will include acting as a trusted advisor to customers in various engagements, ranging from technical development to business analysis. You will serve as a subject matter expert for complex technical issues, providing first call resolution through phone and email. Designing, writing, and enhancing tools for internal and external users, training customers on best practices, and assisting other teams in better servicing clients will be key aspects of your role. You will contribute to team improvement by identifying process and technical gaps and maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction. To be successful in this role, you are required to hold a B.S. Degree in Computer Science or Engineering from a leading University. You should be comfortable with a 24*7*365 support role and possess proficiency in web stack, web services applications, relational and no-SQL database concepts, as well as basic understanding of object-oriented programming and scripting. Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills, exceptional verbal and written communication, and the ability to articulate problems and solutions to technical and non-technical audiences are essential. Nice to have skills include experience with Java, servlets, J2EE framework support, Apache, nginx, Tomcat administration, Oracle PL/SQL, building RESTful services in NodeJS, front-end technologies, Docker containerization, virtualization, basic networking knowledge, proficiency with Linux, and command line environments.
