Job Description

As a Check-in and Reservations Assistant at Darbhanga Airport, your role involves managing and assisting staff in various functions such as check-in, reservations, ticketing, special category passenger handling, and boarding gate operations under the supervision of Duty Managers. Key Responsibilities: - Ensure the safety, security, and quality systems are functioning effectively within your area of responsibility. - Coordinate with other departments to ensure a smooth turnaround of flights within the Passenger Terminal Services (PTS). - Assist in resolving queries of Customer Service Officers, Customer Service Executives, and Senior Customer Service Executives. - Efficiently handle the loading and offloading of dead loads (Turn Around Coordinator only). - Prepare duty allocations for all staff in the shift, covering various activities before aircraft arrival, during turnarounds, and after departure. - Report any occurrences, events, violations, or safety concerns to Duty Managers or Airport Operations Managers. - Monitor staff grooming and ensure adherence to grooming guidelines. - Maintain sufficient staff headcount to cover all operational areas. - Enforce company policies and procedures to comply with regulations and ensure team members" compliance. - Uphold high standards of customer interaction for enhanced customer satisfaction. - Address queries, complaints, and claims, and report them to the Duty Manager or Airport Operations Manager. - Monitor and ensure adherence to health and safety standards by the staff. - Authorized to make decisions to implement safety measures in line with the SMS Manual for department safety goals. Required Skills & Experience: - Proficiency in airport operations. - Knowledge of regulatory compliance. - Strong communication skills. - Ability to work effectively in a team. - Minimum of 3 years of experience in airport functions. Good To Have: - Proficiency in MS Office. - Experience in passenger handling. Educational Qualification: - Graduate degree.
