Customer Delivery Engineer

As a Professional Services Engineer at Black Duck Software, Inc., you will be a key player in helping organizations build secure, high-quality software by minimizing risks and maximizing speed and productivity. Your role will involve working directly with clients to meet their software security, quality, and compliance goals using Black Duck's suite of products including Coverity, Black Duck, Seeker, Defensics, and Software Risk Manager. **Key Responsibilities:** - Document customer requirements and review use cases. - Onboard new accounts and ensure successful technical implementation. - Strategize, conceive, and execute internal processes to enhance the Customer Success organization and service offerings. - Identify areas for improvement in Black Duck's product line and company functions. - Enable customers through formal training and efforts to drive self-sufficiency within assigned accounts. - Assist in achieving Black Duck's renewals business. **Key Requirements:** - Prioritize activities, set objectives, and meet milestones effectively. - Well-organized with the ability to deliver project milestones on time. - Proficiency in at least 2 programming languages such as C/C++, C#, or Java. - Desired experience with security testing and network protocols. - Understanding of open-source software libraries and associated licensing. - Experience with project scoping, requirements gathering, and software development lifecycles. - Strong interpersonal skills to connect with and influence people. - Analytical mindset, conceptual ability, and creativity. - Willingness to travel occasionally and be in-office at least 3 days per week. - Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in a technical customer-facing role. - Experience with SAST tools or SCA tools is an advantage.
