About The Role

Project Role :Custom Software Engineer

Project Role Description :Develop custom software solutions to design, code, and enhance components across systems or applications. Use modern frameworks and agile practices to deliver scalable, high-performing solutions tailored to specific business needs.
Must have skills :Google BigQuery

Summary:As a Custom Software Engineer, you will lead the effort to design, build, and configure applications, acting as the primary point of contact. Your typical day will involve collaborating with various teams to understand their requirements, developing innovative solutions, and ensuring that the applications meet the highest standards of quality and performance. You will also engage in problem-solving activities, providing guidance and support to your team members while fostering a collaborative environment that encourages creativity and efficiency.

Roles & Responsibilities:

Expected to be an SME.

Collaborate and manage the team to perform.

Responsible for team decisions.

Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.

Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.

Facilitate knowledge sharing sessions to enhance team capabilities.

Monitor project progress and ensure timely delivery of milestones.

Professional & Technical Skills:

-Expertise in Google Dataflow for building ETL pipelines.-Hands-on experience with GCP services (Compute Engine, Cloud Storage, BigQuery, IAM).-Proficiency in Python / SQL for application development and scripting.-Experience with Vertex AI for deploying and managing ML models.-Understanding of cloud architecture, networking, and security best practices.-Version control experience (GitHub or similar)-Experience with CI/CD pipelines for automated deployments-Experience building Flask-based microservices to implement business-rule engines, decision APIs, and lightweight application logic.-Familiarity with containerization and deploying services using Cloud Run / GKE.-Strong understanding of data modelling, warehouse layers, and performance optimization in BigQuery-Knowledge of data visualization tools (Tableau)-Version control mastery using GitHub (branching, PRs, code reviews, repository management).-Experience designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines (Cloud Build, deployment).
Additional Information:

The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in Google BigQuery.

This position is based at our Bengaluru office.

A 15 years full time education is required.
