The Program Associate - II position at Samanta Foundation is tailored for individuals passionate about providing education access to all for the holistic development of communities, particularly focusing on early, foundational, and preparatory stages of learning in Uttarakhand. As a Program Associate - II, you will be part of a dynamic team working towards nurturing local youth as leaders within the education system. Your role will involve contributing to curriculum development, creating teaching learning materials, and supporting teachers" growth and development to ensure a comprehensive and relevant education for students. To be considered for this role, you should hold a Bachelor's degree from a recognized University and have a minimum of 12-24 months of experience in education-related roles such as curriculum preparation, teaching, or working with teaching learning materials. Your ability to work collaboratively with adults, lead teams effectively, and drive ambitious outcomes will be essential for success in this position. Key Responsibilities: - Develop contextual curriculum aligned with the National Curriculum Framework (NCF) and National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 for the preparatory stage. - Create contextual learning materials including Project-Based Learning content, storybooks, workbooks, and teaching learning materials. - Review and provide feedback on lesson plans, unit plans, and assessments, collaborating with Fellows when necessary. - Foster a strong team culture that promotes collaborative learning, mutual support, and accountability. - Ensure adherence to organizational and school policies, practices, and procedures within the teams. - Maintain positive relationships with school administration, Headmasters, and other stakeholders as an ambassador of the Foundation's mission. - Assist in the recruitment and selection of Fellows to support the Foundation's initiatives.
