Position summary Samanta Foundation works for Education access to all leading to holistic development of communities. The current opening for Program Associate - II is specifically designed for our ongoing project work in the area of early, foundational and preparatory stages of learning for students/children as part of the education system in Uttarakhand. The position is designed to nurture the local youth as leaders who work as part of the larger team in core areas of curriculum, context, teaching learning materials, teaching in the long term towards enabling schools and communities in ensuring a holistic and relevant education. Essential Qualifications Bachelor’s degree from a recognised University. Minimum 12-24 months of experience in a role in education (contextual literature, curriculum preparation, teaching, teaching learning materials), responsible for teachers’ growth, culture and team building. Demonstrated experience of working in a team with adults in order to achieve results. Demonstrated success in leading teams to ambitious outcomes and building organisation culture. Roles and Responsibilities Contextual curriculum as per current NCF and NEP 2020 for preparatory stage. Prepare contextual learning material - Project Based Learning content, Story books, Workbooks, TLMS etc. Reviewing, providing feedback on lesson plans, unit plans, assessments and wherever required co-plan with Fellows. Building a strong team culture Facilitate and enable collaborative learning, team support and strong self and peer accountability Clarify and reinforce adherence to organisational and school policies, practices and procedures within the teams.
