CSSD Technician

Role Overview: You will be responsible for recording and documenting instruments received from the ward, carrying out procedures in the washing room, processing area, and sterile area. Your attention to detail and knowledge about instruments and equipment used in CSSD will be crucial for the proper maintenance and sterilization of instruments. Key Responsibilities: - Check the details of instruments received from the ward and sign the ward record register - Enter instrument details into the CSSD record register - Carry out washing procedures for instruments received from the ward - Maintain separate tables for OT instruments and perform necessary checks - Ensure proper temperature and pressure maintenance in different zones - Receive, prepare, wrap, label, and sterilize instruments in the processing area - Perform physical, chemical, and biological tests for complete sterilization - Issue items as per protocol and checklist, including sending OT instruments directly to the OT - Pack heat sensitive instruments in special wrappers and select appropriate sterilization cycles Qualification Required: - Basic ability to read and write in the required language - Knowledge about instruments and various equipment used in CSSD - Time management skills - Ability to take responsibility - Attention to details - Knowledge about temperature and pressure changes in CSSD - Knowledge about heat sensitive instruments and indicator tests (Note: No additional details about the company were mentioned in the job description),
