CSIS Lead Investigator - Vice President

As a Citi Security and Investigative Services Lead Investigator, your primary role is to conduct professional and independent investigations into cases of fraud and/or misconduct across South Asia and all of Citi's business lines. Your responsibilities include coordinating and investigating high-level fraud matters and network security incidents, utilizing expertise in investigative interviewing, fraud identification, loss prevention, and cyber enabled fraud. You will be actively engaged in developing cases to a successful conclusion, providing timely fraud preventive intelligence, and building external relationships with law enforcement and industry peers. Key Responsibilities: - Coordinate and investigate high-level fraud matters and network security incidents - Utilize expertise in investigative interviewing, fraud identification, loss prevention, and cyber enabled fraud - Conduct proactive, complex, and high profile investigations - Engage partners and management to keep them informed of significant changes during investigations - Build external relationships with law enforcement, industry peers, and other sources of support - Engage with suspects, witnesses, and third parties through interviews, evidence collection, and forensic examination - Represent Citi in criminal and civil court matters - Mentor and train junior staff members - Brief others on ongoing investigations - Operate with a limited level of direct supervision - Exercise independence of judgment and autonomy - Act as Subject Matter Expert to senior stakeholders and team members - Assess risks in business decisions with consideration for the firm's reputation and compliance with laws and regulations Qualifications Required: - 10 years" financial crime and/or internal/ethics investigative experience - Ability to conduct investigative interviews and recording techniques - Experience in investigating complex cases with substantial impact - Understanding of forensic and eDiscovery processes - Experience representing/testifying in criminal and civil court matters - Proficiency in investigative report writing - Knowledge of financial products, frauds, and trends - Professional certifications such as CA, CPA, CAMS, CFE, or CFF preferred - Proficiency in Microsoft Office products for compiling reports and spreadsheets - Flexibility to work on call off hours/weekends during critical project phases Education Required: - Masters degree This job description provides a comprehensive overview of the responsibilities and qualifications required for the role of Citi Security and Investigative Services Lead Investigator.
