Job Description

As a Design Engineer, you will be responsible for supporting design activities according to project requirements and ensuring high quality deliverables within specified timelines. Your key responsibilities will include: - Conceptualizing and detailing design of mounting definitions for mechanical equipment/subsystems with minimal guidance. - Demonstrating knowledge of sheet metal component design, materials, and processes, as well as expertise in welded joints, symbols, and implementation. - Ability to calculate and represent mass in assemblies, aggregates, and installations. - Understanding Functional Dimensioning requirements. - Designing for manufacturability and serviceability. - Selecting fasteners and designing joints. - Performing basic calculations. - Proficiency in drawing rules and Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) using relevant standards. - Hands-on experience in 3D, 2D, and detailing of parts, assemblies, and installations using CREO and PLM tools like WINDCHILL. In addition to the above responsibilities, the company values individuals with 4 to 8 years of total experience in this field.,
