Credit Risk Advisor

As a Credit Risk Advisor at Fiserv, you will be responsible for conducting thorough credit evaluations of potential and existing merchants to assess their creditworthiness and financial stability. This will involve utilizing various credit-scoring models and analytical techniques. Your role will also include developing and maintaining ongoing monitoring processes for merchant portfolios to ensure timely identification of emerging risks. You will be required to report credit risk metrics to senior management, monitor credit risk exposure on merchants and at the portfolio level, and ensure compliance with internal Credit & Risk policies and external regulatory requirements. Key Responsibilities: - Conduct thorough credit evaluations of potential and existing merchants - Develop and maintain ongoing monitoring processes for merchant portfolios - Design and implement strategies to mitigate identified risks - Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations concerning credit risk management practices - Collaborate with sales, operations, and fraud prevention teams to develop risk management solutions - Stay updated on acquiring industry trends, market conditions, and regulatory changes - Provide guidance and support to merchants on credit-related inquiries Qualifications Required: - Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills - Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal - Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment and independently It would be great to have: - MBA (Finance), Risk Management, or a related field; a Masters degree is preferred - Proficiency in data analysis and reporting software; familiarity with risk management systems is preferred Thank you for considering employment with Fiserv.
